The Wisconsin W-2 program can help you get a job in three steps: Get a job!

If you’re a parent with an open child support case in Milwaukee County and qualify for W-2 benefits, you may also qualify for a special program called Job Placement for Parents.

Job Placement for Parents helps parents get free training in fields that can lead to a full-time job.

With Job Placement for Parents you get:

• Free training to get ready for jobs in manufacturing, transportation, landscaping, warehousing, construction, C.N.A., and C.B.R.F.

• A possible monthly stipend (payment) to support training

• A path to a better job, the ability to support yourself and your children, and a brighter future for all of you

To be in Job Placement for Parents you must:

• Be a custodial or noncustodial (meaning you do not have physical placement of your child or children) parent

• Have an open child support case in Milwaukee County

• Have little or no income
